Meet Tara, better known as (SkinnybyTara). I am also a instructor, author on Amazon/Kindle, and holistic health coach. Tara Milhem’s philosophy is closely in tune with nourishing her students bodies in a thoughtful way that build’s strength for life on and off of the mat.
I got involved with through my studies as a nutritionist. While studying nutrition and doing different types of exercise I was looking for something deeper, on a mental, physical, and spiritual level. Yoga began as a physical exercise for me, but once I was able to master the body I started to get interested in working on the mind, which I find so exciting. I practiced bikram for about a year, which led me to my begin teaching. My style of teaching includes components from vinyasa, ashtanga, and iyengar. Now with SkinnybyTara I am able to connect like-minded health conscious people and educate all of my followers on health, yoga, and nutrition.
From here I am continuing my work in NYC as a yoga instructor, but worldwide with SkinnybyTara inspiring people everyday to live healthier lifestyles. SkinnybyTara is my unique approach to nutrition. Instead of dwelling on the calories, carbs, and fats and creating restrictions of good and bad foods, I guide clients to create a happy, healthy life in a way that is flexible, fun, and free of denial and discipline. SkinnybyTara has now grown into a health community of over 20,000 amazing like-minded people.
